Whats the minimum period I can rent a motorhome

The minimum rental period is 3 days. We offer the 3 day hire to accommodate customers looking for a weekend break. The hire would run from Friday to Monday. The 3 day hire depends on the season and availability. If it's a more extensive holiday we can extend your trip up to 3 months.

What day of time can i collect my motorhome

Motorhomes can be collected between 2pm to 4pm. Return times are between 9am to 11am. Saturday 9am to 12am. Additional times need to be agreed at point of hire. Tour Motorhomes also offers a Drop off & collect service.

Who can drive the motorhome

Drivers between the age of 25-70 years with a valid license for more than two years that entities them to drive a UK standard category B vehicle up to 3500kg MAN. We can obtain insurance cover for 21 years with additional terms and deposits. Up to 3 additional drivers can be added to the cover.

What documents do i need to provide when I collect a vehicle

The hirer and any additional drivers will need to supply two proofs of address dated within 60 days of the hire start date. Proofs must be a bank, building society or credit card statement, or utility bill.

What documents do I need to provide if am not from the uk

All drivers whose licenses are issued outside of the EU are required to supply a valid International Driving Permit alongside your standard license at the start date. This must be issued in the country your standard was, and confirms you are able to drive in the UK.

How will I know how to use the equipment in the motorhome.

When you collect your vehicle you will receive a guided tour of your motorhome, demonstrating the main functions and controls. All vehicles have equipment handbooks. We have purposely chosen vehicles which are easy to operate. Wi-Fi will allow you to consult with your Tour Motorhome guide film throughout your journey. Each vehicle has a user guide with everything you will need to assist you on your journey. We are always at the end of a phone to help.

What is provided, what should I take?

Tour Motorhomes are equipped with;

  • 4G Wi-Fi. TV/DVD player
  • Crockery, glassware, kitchen utensils and cooking equipment
  • Washroom with toilet and shower, hot water from combi boiler
  • Fully equipped kitchen with fridge-freezer, cooker, kettle and toaster.
  • Outdoor chairs and tables
  • Barbecue

We can supply bedding and pillows at a small cost for laundry. Tour customers will receive a welcome pack with motorhome essentials to cover your first night stay.

What should I take? - Clothes to suit the weather, all important refreshments and not forgetting the toiletries. The majority of customers prefer to use there own bedding and towels however we can tailor your requirements from food orders to drinks of your choice, we are here to help and make your holiday experience stress free.

Can I take my motorhome abroad?

Yes, you can travel throughout Europe, we just need the details of your proposed journey. There is an additional £10 per night charge for European travel. Break down assistance with all vehicles travelling in the UK and abroad.

The following counties are covered by the European Travel Insurance; Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

Am I Insured?

Comprehensive UK insurance for up to 3 drivers. We operate an excess deposit of £1000. This will be held against our credit card (only charged in event of an incident). Excess, is the amount you’re required to pay when making an insurance claim. There is an optional Collision Damage Waiver.

How does the Collision Damage Waiver work?

CDW simply reduces the excess. It is charged at £20 per day. If you are involved in a road traffic accident or collision the excess would be reduced from £1000 to £250 subject to terms and conditions.

Returning the Motorhome
Read More

Before returning your motorhome please ensure you

  • Refill the fuel tank
  • Remove rubbish and general waste from the motorhome
  • Empty the cassette toilet and water tank at a designated area.
Motorhome Hire with Pets
Read More

No more than two pets.

Please at NO TIME  leave your pet unattended in the motorhome.

Please ensure all pets are secured during transit.

Please respect the motorhome and keep pets off the soft furnishings.

Due to the additional cleaning to ensure the vehicle is in the best condition for the next customer. Additional charge of £40 is applied to your booking.
